About Us

Flip Flop 2 Adopt began quite by accident. In November of 2006, my husband, Joel, took his first ever mission trip and went to Thailand . Joel fell in love with the people of Thailand and especially the children he worked with at the orphanage. When Joel returned, he talked so much about his love for the people there that I fell in love with them as well. We discussed adopting and prayed about it. Though we had no idea how we would raise the money needed, in Jan 2007 we decided we would go through with the adoption process.

We prayed for God to show us how to raise the money, and He did! I was talking to my girlfriend when she suggested that we sell flip flops. Wow! I was excited about that idea. So I ordered a box of flip flops and sold them to my friends and family. I then had other people wanting them. And from there, our business has grown.

In only thirteen months (average adoption time is around three years), our son, Seth (meaning “chosen”), joined our family in Thailand in February of 2008. In March of 2008 we returned to the States, and he was introduced to his siblings, Kara and William. He has added to and richly blessed our family, as have all of our children.

Today we are the nations largest seller of Bee Bop flip flops. We also carry some other brands like Toe Goz and flip flop accessories. We sell at local events throughout the year and offer fundraising opporunities for teams and organizations. Browse our website to find out more.

Portions of our profit are donated to the Holt Sahathai foundation in Thailand. We also donate to Seth's foster mom to help her with basic needs. This year we plan on giving scholarship money through Holt International for parents adopting from Thailand.
